2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E Leasing Soon!

The all new 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E is the latest variation of the largely successful muscle powerhouse of the company that has been running for years. The Mustang is usually a sports car that comes with a beefy engine but this time Ford took a different approach by putting the soul of a muscle car in the form factor of a crossover SUV with an electric twist.
With the world falling in love with electric vehicles and crossovers, Ford took a page out of the modern book and gave the Mustang lineup a new update.

Exterior design

Make no mistake, the Mustang Mach-E is no ordinary Mustang. From its exterior design to its interior, everything is different, shiny, and new. Throughout the car, you see hints of the normal pony car but it’s mostly taken up on the modern trends of EVs and crossover SUVs. The long hood, the shark nose design, and the taillights are all borrowed from the original Mustang.

Interior styling

The interior of the new Mustang Mach-E is spacious and entirely different from the normal Mustang. It hosts an attractive and massive vertically mounted touchscreen from which you can control most of the features of the car. The gauges are all digital and there are features such as the heated seats as well as the steering wheel, a wireless charging station, a panoramic sunroof, interior lighting, and so much more.

Performance, range and engine power

There are two versions of the new 2021 Mustang Mach-E available in the market. The standard-range model comes with a 75.7 kWh battery that is good enough to go for 210 miles while the extended-range version comes with a massive 98.8 kWh battery that provides you up to 300 miles. The charger is provided with the car obviously.
Though, the charging is a bit slow as it will only give you 30 miles range per night if you plugin on a 120-volt outlet and up to 80% of charge with a 240-volt socket. You can however get the Ford charging station installed through certified electricians which will boost up the charging speed.
The extended-range version produces 480 horsepower and 630 lb-ft of torque which makes the car achieve a 0-60 time of 3.5 seconds.

Safety features

The new 2021 Mustang Mach-E comes with tons of safety features aided by the latest technologies. While the crash-test by the NHTSA hasn’t been performed yet, the vehicle’s key safety features are as following:

  1. Forward-collision warning
  2. Automated emergency braking
  3. Blind-spot monitoring
  4. Rear traffic alert
  5. Parking sensors
  6. Airbags
  7. Lane-departure warning and lane assist
  8. Adaptive cruise control

All of these driver-assistance and safety features make the Mustang Mach-E a very safe car for daily driving.

Conclusion

A new and welcome addition to the Mustang lineup, the Mach-E is an electric vehicle in the form factor of the recently popularized crossover. With sharp lines and a massive Mustang hood in the front, the Mach-E reeks of modern technology yet is not a complete SUV. With more than enough power under the hood or shall we say under the floor, the new addition will surely entertain you with its features, exciting drive, and a look for the ages.
